The Mysterious Phantom of Winter, although they look like constructs, are not at all. Constructs are human creations. The Phantom of Winter arose naturally. Powerful aggregates of magic locked the spirits in an icy shell, creating unusual creatures. Strolling through the mountains, they unleash snowy winds, storms and blizzards. Archmages learned to tame the magic of these beings and subjected them to their will.
If there were to be the most mysterious things in the Dragon Causeway, it would be the Phantom of Frost. They are the higher spirits of ice trapped by magic in shells of ice, snow, and frozen earth. These makeshift body-prisons cannot hold such great power and radiate it in the form of snowstorms. That is why it is said that the Phantom of Frost comes along with the snowstorms.
